Bristol Foodservice might be fairly new members of the Total family but heading up our team is over seventy years experience as local fruit and vegetable suppliers.
Bristol Foodservice has established itself as one of the main foodservice suppliers to caterers across the South West.
Since the depot opened in 2012, we have expanded our product range from fresh fruit and vegetables into Ingredients – Dairy – Bakery – Fine Foods and have also grown our delivery areas. We now cover as far afield as Cirencester and Oxford in the north right down to Southampton and Bournemouth in the South all on a 6-day delivery basis.
The senior management in Bristol have collectively been involved in fresh produce for more than 75 years and the team has a wealth of experience in procuring the best produce from local sources, as well as from around the globe.
Phil, Jason, Sarah, and the team all have a customer service driven focus for the business and that ethos from the top-down has instilled that care and attention across our whole operation. Our ongoing aim is to ensure we build longstanding relationships with our customers and suppliers.
We work closely with some of the region’s best growers. Warren’s Fruit Farm, Bruton Dairy, Paget’s of Bromham and Valefresco to name a few, plus international supplies via our worldwide supply chain. This means we can confidently offer the widest possible range of fresh produce, both local and global on a daily basis from the Wholesale Market in Central Bristol.
We also stock an ever-expanding range of dry goods and dairy, all of it available for next day delivery. We have recently added some additional experience in our Dry Goods procurement as Simon Cocking has joined the business to help us take the next steps. Simon has built up an excellent portfolio of dry goods suppliers and we are sure you will see the difference
We know that food safety is crucial to our customers which is why our depot is BRCGS certificated for storage and distribution. This ensures best practice in handling, storage, and distribution of products and continuous improvement in operating practices. For us, complete customer confidence is always a priority.
Total Produce have also invested heavily in our environmental footprint and all of our lighting is now LED and we are due our first electric delivery vehicle mid 2021. Look out for it in Bristol and Bath as we acknowledge both cities push for Cleaner Air Zones.
Our sales team regularly work alongside our night staff to make sure all our customers get a truly bespoke service, totally focussed on each individual customer’s wants and needs.

We’re a one stop shop for the best of the South West. Fruit, vegetables, cheese, dairy, eggs, dry goods; we’ve got it all available for daily delivery.
I have used Total Produce since I moved to Bristol three years ago and will continue to do so for years to come. Their customer service is second to none, always going the extra mile to supply our restaurant’s needs. The diverse product range and quality fresh fruit and vegetables are impressively competitive and, as an Executive Chef, I can rely on the supply chain day in day out.
