Bristol Foodservice might be fairly new members of the Total family but heading up our team is over seventy years experience as local fruit and vegetable suppliers.
Our Commercial Manager, Bristol born Phil Nichols, started his career in 1989 and has worked all over the South West as a fresh produce wholesaler and distributor.
Tony Hutchinson, one of our long serving sales people, has been supplying hotels and restaurants in Bristol and Bath since 1986, initially with his own company before teaming up with Total Produce in 2012.
In charge of procurement is Jason Burton a former Bristol head chef who started his own supply company in 1996, joining forces with Total Bristol in 2012. Jason’s years of experience in professional kitchens give him an unequalled understanding of our customer’s requirements.
Working closely with the best growers in the south west and, via our parent company, the best growers across the world means we can offer the widest possible range of fresh produce, both local and global.
We also stock an ever expanding range of dry goods and dairy, all of it available for next day delivery.
We know that food safety is crucial to our customers which is why our depot is BRC certificated for storage and distribution. This ensures best practice in handling, storage and distribution of products and continuous improvement in operating practices. For us complete customer confidence is always a priority.
Our sales team regularly work alongside our night staff to make sure all our customers get a truly bespoke service, totally focussed on each individual customer’s wants and needs.
