Ok, let’s start off with the classic Christmas vegetables. Sprouts have been around for the last two months or so but we always advise to start using when the temperatures start to drop or ideally when we get a sharp frost. So now is ideal! UK Parsnips are another seasonal must-have with their little cousins, Piccolos, getting ever more popular.
Spanish Citrus is absolutely bang in season with the star of the show being the glorious Clementine. Spanish Clementines have a classic sweetness to them which can work really well in many savoury dishes as well as enjoyed, quite simply as, a festive fruity treat.
