Fruit

We have received our first delivery of jumbo juicy English Cherries from Oakchurch farm in Hereford.

Spanish Plums are now in full flow and Early English should be with us by the end of the month. Nectarines and Peaches have not been the best quality so far but this will change this month and prices will settle as a result.

Citrus – we are now coming to the end of the Cyprus season for Oranges and will move on to South African. Please remember prices will be more expensive.

Salad

UK Salads are now in full flow with some superb Leaf Salad coming from all over the UK. With Gem, Cos, Lollo Rosso, Oakleaf, Lollo Biondi, and Icebergs. Lettuces are reliant on stable weather so if your region encounters wetter weather then the lettuces will struggle to last so please buy day to day where possible.

Don’t forget that the renown Isle of Wight Heritage Tomatoes are great at the moment.
